Our present Church grew from the organization , in 1959 of the Millville Circuit of the Methodist Episcopal church, South. This Circuit was organized and traveled by Rev. John Milton ward. It included at various times Millville, Cottonwood, Shasta, the Bald Hills and Dry Creek areas, and those places, which later became Anderson, Redding, Ono and Igo.
We have enjoyed times of triumph as a congregation and times of failure, but we have always managed to give God all honor and glory and done our best to serve God, our community and the world.
We are children, youth, men and women who are not perfect, but who strive to be more like Christ day by day.
There is so much to be said about the spiritual health of the congregation, but there is neither time nor space to detail all the stories of love, compassion, forgiveness, generosity, insight, spiritual growth, acceptance, faith and renewal that occur at Trinity almost daily. We pray that God will continue to allow us to serve Him, each other, our community and the world for many years to come…
…but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
